The Hero Group subsidiary Hero Tolk AB recently won large parts of a giant tender for the Swedish Kammarkollegiet. This Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency is the oldest public agency in Sweden with a broad range of state level responsibilities. One of these is to acquire coordinated framework agreements for public agencies. Kammarkollegiet has recently tendered for interpretation services for 21 different geographical regions. The customers for these services will be state agencies like the police, courts, prisons, the probation service, the tax agency, the health and social care inspectorate, and many others. The estimated yearly revenue on the agreement is SEK 190 millions. Hero Tolk has won the position as number 1 provider in 16 regions and number 2 provider in the remaining five regions.
– This is the biggest tender victory of all times for Hero, says Hero Group CEO Tor Brekke in a comment.
COO of Hero’s division for Language Services, Gierth Mejdell, is also very pleased with the result.
– The victory comes from deep market insight, long term focus on quality services and considerable work effort. With volumes like this we also have a lot of work ahead of us. Our ordering systems have recently been upgraded and optimized. They will reach their full potential at large number of transactions. That will be crucial for our ability to deliver in all areas of the agreement, says Gierth.
