As the first operator in Norway, Hero Norge AS is now certified according to the ISO 9001 quality standard.
This is an international standard for quality management, and one of the most renowned methods for quality assurance. Operation of accommodation centres for asylum seekers is strictly regulated by a range of public authorities in addition to the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI). Several public agencies monitor activity and conduct audits. Operators therefore need to comply to a wide range of requirements, rules and regulations. As a consequence, employees also need to be well trained and work systematically with compliance.
– We have always worked systematic and hard to comply with customer demands and all other regulations. With ISO certification we have reach a new important milestone in this work. I want to thank all my colleagues for their good work in achieving this, says Director Vidar Torheim.
– The ISO certification also applies to our centres in Germany, he adds.
