Before Christmas 2018 it was confirmed that Hero Zukunft continues the operation of the reception center for asylum seekers in Wittenbergerstr. in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Berlin. The new contract runs from January 2019 for three years with options for a further two years.
In addition, we won the contract for a new facility in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, in the Paul Schwenk-str. – with the same conditions and contract terms as Wittenbergerstr. We started our operations there at the turn of the year.
Both institutions are so-called modular accommodations (MUF), with nearly 30 employees in total, and a total capacity of 880 residents.
Also, our contract for the center in Dingolfingerstr. was extended until the end of the year 2019.
Hero now runs five asylum reception centers in Germany, four in Berlin and one in Kamenz.
